I’m currently studying in ACAD, 4th year PHTG. The area of photography I chose is fashion. To me, fashion is a representation of style, concept, mentality, politics and one person himself. From the little black dress from Chanel, to deconstructive clothing from Rei Kawanubo ---Fashion exists and evolves because there’s one thing called anti-fashion. However, anti-fashion is within fashion. One can’t live without the other. A good photograph could emphasis the power of a good piece of design. It can potentially enlarge audiences’ imaginations of what more you can do with you newly shopped garments, even those ones that’s been set in your closet for more than two seasons. Fashion is trend but it’s also the courage that we have within to live lives in our own ways. Fashion photography means the exactly same to me because what I do is what makes me unique.
