The Fashion film brief - Nick’s selection
Nick Knight set the photographers enrolled on Photography: Mastered the task of creating a fashion film. For many of them, this was their first ever attempt at capturing fashion using the moving image. Here are the ones that caught his eye.
The eleven photographers listed below created incredible moving image pieces in response to the Fashion film brief Nick set for you all earlier during the program.
Nick went through all of the submissions and hand-picked his favourite projects, adding some comments, tips and suggestions to help these artists make the most of their strengths and improve in the areas that need more attention.
This feedback is a precious chance for you all to get better at what you do, get fresh sources of inspiration and consider different aspects of your image making practice. Don’t forget Nick’s full shortlist for this selection will be shared with you this week as well: quite a few of you managed to catch Nick’s attention through their great work.
Lastly, this lesson features the projects Nick loved most from the ones submitted by the artists on this program and it’s not in any way linked to the Fashion Film Awards held by SHOWstudio earlier this month.
