Hair: Mastered Opportunity - Work at the VFiles show in New York
VFiles recruited the backstage team for its New York Fashion Week show from Mastered with hair, makeup and nails all provided by our artists. One artist, Eduardo Mella from Hair: Mastered, was selected by Julie Anne to lead the VFiles show this season.
While VFiles is a relatively young brand, it has fast established itself as an authority in the digital fashion age. Founded by the former executive editor of V magazine, VFiles is an online community striving for diversity and empowering emerging creatives in the fashion industry.
Their catwalk collection is presented at New York Fashion Week each season and the show is entirely crowd-sourced by an application-only process.
VFiles founder Julie Anne Quay says: “Selections by VFiles and our team of mentors are made based on creativity, the ability to execute a collection, saleability, showmanship and popularity on the VFiles platform.
